Banhoek Chilli Oil – Banhoek Bites Giveaway

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is Banhoek Chilli Oil Company (Pty) Ltd ("the Promoter").

2. Competition Period

The competition opens on 16 July 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM (SAST) on 30 July 2026. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

The competition is open to legal residents of South Africa and the United Kingdom who are 18 years of age or older.

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

• Employees of Banhoek Chilli Oil Company (Pty) Ltd.
• Immediate family members of employees.
• Any agencies or suppliers directly associated with this competition.

The competition is subject to all applicable laws and regulations in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Visit the Banhoek Chilli Oil website.
• Sign up to the Banhoek Bites newsletter.
• Return to the competition Instagram post and comment with the requested keyword.

Only one entry per email address will be accepted.

Participants must remain subscribed to the Banhoek Bites newsletter until the winner has been selected and contacted.

5. Prize

One winner will receive a Banhoek Chilli Oil prize bundle containing selected Banhoek Chilli Oil products, including:

• Banhoek Chilli Oil products
• Banhoek Chilli Crunch
• Banhoek Chilli Mayo
• Early access to Banhoek Chilli Oil's upcoming popcorn range
• Additional Banhoek goodies as determined by the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize item with another item of equal or greater value should circumstances require.

The prize is not transferable, refundable or exchangeable for cash.

The Promoter will cover the reasonable cost of shipping the prize to an address within South Africa or the United Kingdom, including any applicable customs duties or import taxes associated with the delivery of the prize.

6. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by random draw after the competition closes.

The draw will take place on 31 July 2026.

The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted using the email address supplied when subscribing to Banhoek Bites and/or via Instagram.

If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, or does not respond within that period, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8. Delivery of Prize

The prize will be delivered free of charge to an address within South Africa or the United Kingdom supplied by the winner.

The Promoter is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs clearance processes, or incorrect delivery information provided by the winner.

Should the winner fail to provide a valid delivery address within a reasonable period after being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

9. Personal Information

By entering this competition, participants consent to:

• Receiving the Banhoek Bites newsletter.
• The processing of their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition.
• Their information being handled in accordance with Banhoek Chilli Oil's Privacy Policy.

Participants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time after the competition has concluded.

10. Publicity

The winner agrees that the Promoter may publish their first name, surname initial, and/or social media handle, together with photographs relating to the prize, for promotional purposes, unless the winner objects in writing before publication.

11. General

The Promoter reserves the right to:

• Verify the validity of all entries.
• Disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or provides false information.
• Cancel, suspend or amend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
